Ukodhiko Lauds Gov. Oborevwori On Delta Health College, Ovrode
Member representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for the establishment of College of Health Technology at Ovrode in his constituency.
The House of Representative member gave the commendation on Friday at Abuja, in a statement, saying that, it underscores the Governor’s commitment to the improvement of the State Health sector and the infrastructural development of Isoko-nation.
According to Hon. Ukodhiko, “The Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori deserves plaudits for his foresight, vision, dynamism, astute leadership qualities and patriotism in establishing the second State College of Health Technology, at Ovrode in Isoko North Local Government Area.
“The school is part of the Delta Governor’s audacious plans for the improvements of the state health sector, which will ultimately bring quality and effective healthcare services closer to the people as the shortage of manpower will be adequately taken care of.
“With the foundation laying ceremony at Ovrode, Gov. Oborevwori is intentionally expanding healthcare infrastructure, especially for the training of professionals who are closer to the grassroots in order to meet the health needs of all Deltans, and non-Deltans.”
Hon. Ukodhiko said, “On behalf of the good people of Isoko North and Isoko South Federal Constiteuncy, I commend our leader and Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for establishing the Delta State College of Health Technology in Ovrode and whose foundation laying ceremony is being done today Friday, May 17, 2024.
“The peaceful and accommodating people of Ovrode and Isoko-nation appreciates the Governor, and welcome this laudable project to our homeland, and we will work collaboratively to ensure its prompt completion.” Ukodhiko assured.
